How is the cost of this work calculated?

The cost depends on the agreed scope, property and complexity of the work. Swift Build generally takes on projects from £5,000 upwards; this is not a price for a complete project of this type. We offer free site visits and quotes, with cost planning supported by our quantity surveyor.

How long will the work take?

Every project is different. The expected duration depends on the scope, design requirements and site conditions. We provide a programme of works setting out the proposed schedule so you can plan and discuss progress.

Do I need to manage the trades myself?

No. Our team manage the build, coordinating our one in-house carpenter and two skilled labourers with our wider partner network. Registered partner trades carry out electrical and gas work and provide the relevant certification.

Is Swift Build Coventry Ltd insured?

Yes. We hold public and employers’ liability insurance and provide insurance documents to clients as part of the project documentation. Please refer to those documents for the scope of cover.

Do you provide a workmanship guarantee?

We do not offer a written workmanship guarantee. We always come back to put things right if an issue arises after completion. Please contact us during our opening hours to discuss any concerns.

Do you offer emergency 24/7 call-outs?

No, we are not an emergency service. We are a professional building contractor for planned projects. If you have concerns, please contact us during our standard opening hours (Mon-Fri 8-5, Sat 9-1). For immediate utility emergencies, contact the relevant emergency services.

How do you handle building regulations in Coventry?

We manage building control inspections and the sign-off process, coordinating the relevant partner professionals and trades for the agreed work.

Can you complete a project another builder has left unfinished?

Yes. Taking over and fixing projects left by other builders is part of our service. We arrange a free site visit to discuss the existing work, the remaining scope and a costed plan for completion.
